According to information released today by analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, Apple will begin receiving bulk shipments of the iPhone 15 Pro Max this week. This means the iPhone 15 Pro Max will go on sale in September despite concerns about production delays, but customers may need to order quickly if they want delivery on launch day.

Apple is expected to introduce the iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max at an event that is said to take place on Tuesday, September 12. While all four models are expected to come with a USB-C port and dynamic island, it is said that there are many additional features for Pro models such as titanium bezel, customizable Action button, faster A17 Bionic chip, Wi-Fi 6E support. and more.

The iPhone 15 Pro Max is expected to have a 6.7-inch display just like the iPhone 14 Pro Max, but with thinner bezels around the screen. It is rumored that next year the iPhone 16 Pro Max will feature an even larger 6.9-inch display.

One of the features expected to be exclusive to the iPhone 15 Pro Max this year is the updated telephoto lens with periscope technology. Kuo has previously said that this lens will provide up to 5-6x optical zoom compared to the current 3x limit.

Numerous reports indicate that the iPhone 15 Pro models may be more expensive than the iPhone 14 Pro models, with a $100-$200 price increase possible in the US. There has been speculation on social media that Apple may expand the devices’ base memory to 256GB to justify the high prices.
