Lots of hardware was announced alongside a number of minor software announcements, including updates to Workspace and Assistant. Let’s take a look at the new search engine gadgets, starting with the most interesting one.

It is known that the flagships will receive the next generation Google Tensor processor and Android 13 right out of the box.

The Pixel 7 will have two cameras and the Pixel 7 Pro will have three. Official release in October.

At the end of April, the first real photos of the device surfaced online, and now Google has officially announced its smartwatch. Between chips – Integration with the Fitbit ecosystem on Wear OS 3. There is no specification.

Another iron innovation is the flagship Pixel Buds Pro. The model will receive a six-core sound chip to run the active noise reduction system – it will adapt to the environment. The volume of the headset can also be adjusted automatically depending on the ambient noise.

“Transparency” and “spatial sound” modes will appear – the latter will appear by the end of the year. It promises up to 31 hours of battery life, has wireless charging support: 15 minutes will provide three hours of work. The earphones have IPX4 protection, the case has IPX2 protection. 11mm speakers, Bluetooth 5.0 support.

Four colors are available: red, gray, black and lemon. Orders will cost $199 on July 21.

The company showed a video about augmented reality glasses. Their feature was real-time translation with transcriptions of the text. There are no details about the gadget.

Another surprise was the announcement of the Pixel tablet on the Tensor chip. The form factor is unremarkable, but the highlight of the device will definitely be Android 12L, which will run the gadget. It will be released in 2023.

Google announced its Wallet program, which will store debit and transportation cards, tickets and boarding passes, a vaccination certificate, and in the future an ID card and a hotel room pass.

In the coming weeks, the program will be available in 40 countries, including Ukraine. In the future, the app will replace Google Pay.

Updates for Android 12L and Android 13

Continuing the tablet theme, Google announced that more than 20 applications received the optimization of the new Android 12L. These include YouTube, Google Maps, Messaging, TikTok, Google Play and more.

Also, shortly after the presentation, Android 13 beta was made available to users. Fieldm software can be installed on smartphones from Asus, Lenovo, Xiaomi, OnePlus, realme, Vivo, Oppo and others in addition to Pixel.
