ROG’s first Windows 11 portable console powered by the powerful AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme processor is available for purchase in the country today.
During an event held at the Tele Performance Gaming Arena to commemorate World Gamer Day in Colombia, the Republic of Gamers (ROG) announced the launch of ROG Ally in the Colombian market.
Starting today, gamers and video game enthusiasts in the country have the opportunity to purchase this extraordinary console through the official ASUS website. ROG Ally powered by Windows 11 gives users the ability to immerse themselves in their favorite games with incredibly powerful and portable performance.
Powered by the latest generation AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme processor, it can easily run AAA and indie games at 1080p whether you’re playing alone or with friends. With strong support and partnerships from across the industry, ROG Ally could be the ultimate portable gaming machine.
ROG Ally is a truly next-generation portable console that delivers Full HD gaming on the go and can run even the latest AAA titles faster and smoother than any other similar device on the market. Because it runs Windows 11, it can play any game on any platform: if it’s available for PC, it’s available for ROG Ally too. Play solo, connect to your TV to play with friends, or take your gaming experience to the next level with ROG XG Mobile external GPUs.
ROG Ally is powered by the new AMD Ryzen Z1 series processor. Built on Zen 4 architecture paired with AMD RDNA 3 architecture-based graphics, the Ryzen Z1 Extreme processor competes with gaming consoles with 8 cores, 16 threads and up to 8.6 teraflops of graphics processing performance. An AMD Ryzen Z1 processor variant will be available later this year with 6 cores and 12 threads, and both models support AMD FidelityFX scaling technologies.TM and AMD Radeon Super Resolution for superior performance and stunning graphics in demanding AAA and indie titles.
This is made possible by the ROG Zero Gravity Thermal System, which uses a dual-fan system with ultra-thin heatsink fins and high-friction heatpipes to keep ROG Ally cool in any position. ROG Ally is also equipped with 16GB of 6400MHz high-speed LPDDR5 memory, 512GB of PCIe Gen 4 memory, and a UHS-II microSD card slot to further expand storage capacity. Wi-Fi 6E support ensures that ROG Ally stays connected even on congested networks, whether you’re playing multiplayer, browsing the web, or streaming video.
Achieving the highest levels of gaming performance requires the right panel, and ROG Ally doesn’t disappoint. Equipped with a 120Hz Full HD (1080p) panel and AMD FreeSync Premium technology, gamers will enjoy the highest clarity in fast-paced games without tearing or stuttering. The screen also has a maximum brightness of 500 nits, making it easy for gamers to follow the action in more challenging environments like outdoors. This touchscreen also provides smooth Windows 11 navigation when gamers need to change settings or install their next game.
ROG Ally was originally developed with Windows 11, so it can run all your games on any platform. ROG has partnered with Microsoft, game publishers, and individual studios to ensure that gamers using ROG Ally have the best possible experience. Full support for Steam, EA apps, Xbox Game Pass, Epic Games, GOG Galaxy 2.0 and other game libraries, ensuring gamers have access to their favorite games no matter where they were purchased.
Building on ROG’s years of experience in gaming hardware and software, the ROG Ally is not only an extremely powerful handheld console, but also provides a unique level of versatility for gamers looking to get more done with a single device:
time for me: ROG Ally takes handheld gaming to the next level.
