After the introductions over the past few days, iQOO has finally launched the iQOO Z7 Pro in India as planned. As the name suggests, the device has been positioned as a better version of the iQOO Z7 from earlier this year and has been replaced by the iQOO Z7s for a few weeks.
The iQOO Z7 Pro is unlike any other iQOO phone. This is because it is a rebranded Vivo S17e sold in China.
The iQOO Z7 Pro looks like a Vivo S17 series device because it is. It has the famous ring LED flash on the back and a slim and light design. With a thickness of 7.36mm and a weight of 175g, the front and back of the phone are curved for a comfortable grip.
The phone is built around a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED display with a hole in the middle and Schott Xensation glass protection. The 10-bit panel has a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels (FHD+), 388 pixels per inch, a 120 Hz refresh rate and a 300 Hz touch sampling rate.
The smartphone is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 7200 chip combined with LPDDR4x RAM, UFS 2.2 storage and VC liquid cooling system. It launches Funtouch OS 13 based on Android 13.
It has a dual camera setup consisting of a 64MP primary sensor with OIS and a 2MP depth sensor. On the front is a 16-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls. The device also has an in-display fingerprint sensor, but lacks dual stereo speakers. In terms of connectivity, it offers dual SIM, 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, GNSS and USB Type-C.
Finally, the smartphone has a 4,600mAh battery with 66W wired charging support.
IQOO Z7 Pro has the following prices in India.
It can be purchased as Graphite Matte or Blue Lagoon. Shoppers can enjoy an instant discount of ₹2,000 on transactions made using cards issued by SBI and HDFC Bank.
