This will be Google’s first tablet since 2018. The last such gadget, though with a slightly different form factor, was the Pixel Slate, which runs on Chrome OS and has a detachable keyboard. The new Pixel will switch to Android.

The company says the camera on the new tablet will be “like on smartphones.” Again no flash module in rendersand this may affect the quality of the photos.

  • Presenter Rick Osterlo described the tablet as “the smartest in the world”. Similarly, Google talked about smartphones with their own Tensor processors, as they have various functions to work with artificial intelligence, speech, image processing and more.
  • It also confirmed the tablet. It will have a large screen and will be offered in the premium segment. That means it will compete with the best Android tablets.

The company will likely use a different name – not just Pixel as it is now called – because when you talk about gadget back then, it can easily be confused with smartphones. For example, it might be called the Pixel Tab.

As for the price, Google didn’t say anything about it, because it takes longer and the prices of components change very often and quickly.

The exact release date is unknown, but it will. in 2023.
