The new Poco C51 variant has been launched in India. In April of this year, the company announced the Poco C51 as its most affordable smartphone. The device received 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of memory. Now the brand has announced a higher configuration of the device.

As seen in the screenshot below, the Poco C51 is now available in a version that offers 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The new model is priced at Rs 8,999 (~$109) and comes with 5GB of RAM. Two color options are available: Power Black and Royal Blue. As seen in the image above, the device will be available on September 6th. With a 10 percent discount with SBI Bank credit/debit cards, the phone is priced at just Rs 8,099 (~$98).

The current 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant of the C51 continues to be priced at Rs 6,499 (~$79). As you know, the smartphone can only be purchased on Flipkart when it comes to online purchasing.

Features of Poco C51

The Poco C51 is an entry-level smartphone with a 6.52-inch HD+ LCD display with a 60Hz refresh rate and 20:9 aspect ratio. It has a 5-megapixel front camera and an 8-megapixel dual-camera at the back with LED flash.

There is a fingerprint scanner on the leather back of the phone. It comes pre-installed with Android 13 (Go edition) and has a 5000mAh battery with 10W charging.

Under the hood of the Poco C51 is the MediaTek Helio G36 chipset, LPDDR4x RAM and eMMC storage. Other features available on the device include dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, microUSB port and 3.5mm audio jack. For those who don’t know, this is the rebranded version of Redmi A2+ which is also available in India.
