It is worth noting that the “Wallet” includes several features ported from GPay – they are related to debit cards. Wallet is expected to replace Google Pay, but the latter will continue to operate as a contactless payment system. The GPay application, which is currently operating for money transfer in many countries, will be further developed.
In addition to the new application, Google has also made a few changes to the “Wallet” in the Chrome browser. The update allows users to convert all credit and debit cards saved with Chrome Autofill to virtual cards. This means you no longer have to look for an additional security code on the back of your cards when paying online.
The app is currently not available for download, but will be available soon. It will be available in the Google Play store for citizens of 40 countries, including Ukraine.
