Previously, there were rumors that Apple might drop the iPhone 15 Pro Max name and opt for the iPhone 15 Ultra. In a new development, whistleblower Majin Bu reveals that Apple may introduce an iPhone 15 Ultra model, based on the information he received from his sources. This will be the fifth option in the queue. The iPhone 15 Pro Max will have 6GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage. On the other hand, the Ultra variant will have a maximum of 8 GB of RAM and 2 TB of storage. It will also have improved cameras over the regular Pro model.
It seems that the increase in RAM, storage and camera improvements are the reasons why it makes sense for Apple to release the iPhone 15 Ultra. The speaker also added that the Ultra variant could cost $100 more than the Pro Max model. In addition, some case manufacturers have separated the iPhone 15 Pro Max from the iPhone 15 Pro Ultra.
