Nokia conducted a survey on its Twitter account asking users to guess the price of the G42. Users have to vote for two options which include Rs 16.xxx and Rs 18.xxx. This suggests that the upcoming smartphone could be priced under Rs 18,000. According to the survey, the majority of users voted for the first option, which is way ahead of the second option by a significant margin. We will know the official prices and availability of the Nokia G42 on Monday.

It has been confirmed that the Nokia G42 will be available on Amazon. It will be equipped with a 6.56-inch HD + display with a drop notch and 90 Hz refresh rate. It will be equipped with an OZO powered speaker. The smartphone has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner built into the power button and a pill-shaped rear camera module. It has been confirmed that the Nokia G42 is powered by Snapdragon 480 chipset with 5G support under the hood. It is expected to have up to 11 GB of RAM, including virtual RAM. The upcoming offering will qualify for two years of OS updates and three years of security patches. It will be available in purple and gray color options.
As for other specifications, the global version of the Nokia G42 packs a 5,000mAh battery with support for 20W fast charging. It is offered in 4GB and 6GB RAM options along with 128GB of storage space.
