The iQOO Z8 smartphone was launched in China last week alongside the iQOO Z8x, targeting budget consumers looking for high-performance devices with powerful hardware and powerful processors. There are indications that the iQOO Z8 may soon be available in international markets, as recently mentioned on the Google Play Console.
iQOO Z8 with model number V2314A was spotted on the Google Play Console list. We can say this easily because the Chinese version of the device also has the same model number. The listing shows that the device will have an Android 13-based operating system.
The listing reveals that the global version of the iQOO Z8 will have a Full HD+ display with a resolution of 1080×2388 pixels. Under the hood, the smartphone will be powered by Mediatek Dimensity 8200 processor along with Mali-G610 GPU. It will also be available with 12 GB RAM.
As for the camera, the iQOO Z8 will have two cameras on the back: a 64MP main camera and a 2MP depth sensor. For selfies, there will be a 16MP front camera that can record 1080p video. Global iQOO Z8 will also have a 5,000mAh battery and 120W fast charging support. It will be equipped with a headphone jack and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
According to the available information, it seems that there will be no change in technical specifications compared to the Chinese version. The only unanswered questions are price and release date. The price of iQOO Z8 in China starts at 1,699 yuan, which is about $235. But global prices are generally slightly higher than Chinese prices. Therefore, it will not be a surprise if the smartphone is priced above $ 250.
