A few weeks ago, Huawei shocked the world by launching the 5G-enabled Mate 60 Pro in China. The device is powered by HiSilicon Kirin 9000s, which is the company’s new chip after three years. This phone was later followed by Mate 60, Mate 60 Pro Plus and Mate X5 versions. They are all equipped with the same chipset.
Since the launch of the Mate 60 Pro, Huawei has only sold two official cases. However, earlier today, a marketing material revealed that the company will introduce three more official cases for the smartphone, bringing the total number to five.
According to a screenshot shared by blogger Douyin, the Huawei Mate 60 Pro can accessorize its device with any of the official cases below.
At the time of this writing, only the first two models were available on VMall. Available in black, white and purple colors. The silicone case also comes in green.
The Smart Window Cover (flip cover) was leaked yesterday with an estimated retail price of ¥199. However, according to the latest information, its price is ¥30 more.
The Ring Flash case, which was first introduced for the Huawei Mate 40 series in 2020, is also returning. The LED ring on this case can be used as fill light and notification flashes.
Finally, the newest shell introduced is the Micropump Liquid Cooling Shell, which provides additional heat dissipation. According to the official description, it resembles the Ice-Skin case for Oppo Find X5 Pro and the Glacier Mat Case for OnePlus 10T. The official cases for the Mate 60 Pro go really well with the phone. But unfortunately the device does not enter global markets.
