Apple introduced its new models in addition to the iPhone 15, Apple Watch Ultra 2 and Apple Watch Series 9 in its Keynote Speech. iPhone 15 ProIt is renewing its star product in the premium product range. It’s a design inspired by the previous generation, although there’s a big change in the button panel. Final farewell to Lightning port. Titanium-coated screen frames, which are the most used in iPhone.
All of these Features and specifications of iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Maxtwo a priori discreet renewals, but with corresponding changes for those who want to upgrade to new models.
Design: Titanium and fineness according to the flag
iPhone 15 Pro has a new finish that replaces the previous generation’s stainless steel by titanium. It promises to be much lighter and stronger, with new, rounder edges. This new material also allows for better thermal dissipation. When we turn it over, we encounter reduced frames that allow us to slightly reduce its size.
However, the big change in design comes with new customizable action button. By default, it’s a volume switch that toggles between mute/volume when pressed. However, it is possible to turn on the camera, start recordings and even customize shortcuts.
Just like last year, we will have iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max models in 6.1 and 6.7 inches.
Great power that can compete with the best
The new iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max come with a new processor: Apple A17 Bionic. It is the industry’s first three-nanometer processor, and what they promise is 19 billion transistors, currently the most advanced. The GPU is the fastest on any phone, and the CPU is configured with two high-performance and six high-efficiency cores. Neural Engine 16 times faster compared to the previous generation.
This SoC continues to use ray tracing to enhance scenes and promises to be more efficient than the last generation. It has a special driver for USB. Transfer up to 10 Gbps (USB 3 speed).
Renewed camera system
The camera is still 48 megapixels, but the sensor has been revamped compared to the iPhone 15 (larger). These are the only iPhones that can shoot in ProRAW format, and they offer higher resolution functionality. Besides the usual 12-megapixel mode with pixel binning, we can now shoot in 24-megapixel mode, which promises greater sharpness.
The iPhone 15’s portrait improvements also make their way to the Pro, which offers automatic depth mapping when it detects there are people in the scene. We can then change the focus of the scene in the gallery.
The Smart HDR algorithm has been improved, providing better control of highlights. iPhone 15 Pro Max launches an all-new telephoto lens5x optical zoom with 120mm focal range and f/2.8 aperture. The iPhone 15 Pro continues with “only” three magnification telephoto lenses, the same distance we saw last year.
Video recording can be done in ProRes 4K 60 FPS format and can be recorded directly to the hard disk thanks to the USB 3-C port. It can record in log format, which is a fairly flat format that makes editing and grading (color correction) easier in post-production.
They are also introducing “spatial video” functionality that can shoot video with all three cameras simultaneously. It is a function designed to play this format on Apple Vision Pro and will arrive by the end of the year.

In the United States, the price of the iPhone 15 Pro starts at $999, while the iPhone 15 Pro Max goes up to $1,199. Only the base configuration of the Pro Max model has 256GB, while the Pro model retains 128Gb.
