The iPhone 15 Pro shined in the benchmark as we were able to compare its performance with its predecessor. In Geekbench 6, the new three-nanometer A17 Pro SoC with 19 billion transistors scored 2914 and 7199 in single-threaded and multi-threaded modes, respectively.

For comparison, the A16 Bionic shows a result of approximately 2645 and 7075 points. That is, the increase in multi-threaded mode is almost absent, and in single-threaded mode it is 10%, as Apple itself says.

If you remember, in this case we are only talking about the processor part and here we see that there is no significant difference between the A16 Bionic and the A17 Pro.

It’s also a reminder that the A17 Pro is the first consumer SoC to be based on the 3nm process, so it’s a bit surprising that Apple didn’t take advantage of it. However, let us remind you that the company mainly focuses on GPU and no tests have been carried out for this yet.
