Vivo plans to launch the T2 Pro 5G smartphone in India on September 22. The smartphone will be available exclusively on Flipkart. Keeping this in mind, the brand has now officially confirmed the presence of the chipset in the T2 Pro 5G.

Vivo has officially confirmed that the T2 Pro 5G will come with the Dimensity 7200 5G processor. The device’s previous Geekbench 6 listing showed it scoring 1,161 and 2,625 in single-core and multi-core tests respectively. According to reports, the smartphone scored 6,00,000 points in the AnTuTu test.

For those who don’t know, Dimensity 7200 is a fairly new chip from the MediaTek camp, based on TSMC’s 2nd generation 4nm process. Oppo recently launched the A2 Pro smartphone in China with the same Diemsnity 7200 chipset.

Features of Vivo T2 Pro 5G

Vivo T2 Pro 5G is expected to feature a 3D curved display with 120Hz refresh rate, offering an ultra-thin design in vibrant gold color. Curved edges increase grip and comfort. There is an aura light on the back that surrounds the camera module and could be a unique selling point.

While speculations point to a dual rear camera setup with a 64MP primary sensor, details about the secondary sensor are yet to be confirmed. The MediaTek Dimensity 7200 SoC is reportedly paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of internal storage. A 4,600 mAh battery with 66W fast charging support is expected. According to rumors, the smartphone will have similar features to the iQOO Z7 Pro 5G.
