Tecno recently confirmed that it will be announcing the Tecno Phantom V Flip globally on September 22nd. Recent reports have revealed a lot of information about the country’s first folding screen clamshell phone. Ahead of the launch, speaker Paras Guglani released the specifications of the device. Here’s a look at the leaked details.

Features of Tecno Phantom V Flip

According to the leak, Tecno Phantom V Flip (model number AD11) will have dimensions of 172.35x74x7.05 mm (unfolded). When folded, its thickness will increase to 15.1 mm. On the inside of the device, there will be a 6.9-inch foldable AMOLED screen with FHD + 1080 × 460 pixel resolution and 20.5: 9 aspect ratio. For selfies, the device will be equipped with a 32-megapixel front camera.

The Phantom V Flip has a 1.32-inch screen on the back with a resolution of 466 x 466 pixels. The back of the device also has a 64-megapixel primary camera with autofocus and a 13-megapixel secondary camera that resembles an ultra-wide lens.

Phantom V Flip will have a 4,000 mAh battery with fast charging support via USB-C port. Unfortunately, neither the charging speed nor the name of the chip that powers the device is mentioned. A previous leak from the same source revealed that the device would have the Dimensity 8050 chip. The new leak suggests that the V Flip will have 8 GB RAM and 256 GB internal storage.

Phantom V Flip will offer connectivity features such as Wi-Fi 802.11ax, Bluetooth 5.3 and 5G connectivity (14 5G bands). Along with HiOS 13, Android 13 will also come pre-installed. While nothing is known about the price of the device, the leak states that the device will be available in colors such as Minimal Black, Film White and Purple Periwinkle.
