Channel 24 gathered the latest information on the sale of production facilities, including the reaction of the head of Roscosmos, Dmitry Rogozin. He made another statement about it.

Renault sells Russian company

• As reported by “Kommersant” with reference to the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade, Russia’s assets in the Renault Group become state property.
• The company’s share in the local AvtoVAZ – 67.69% of the shares – was sold to Russia in the person of the Federal State Enterprise “Central Research Automobile and Automotive Institute” (NAMI).
• The remaining shares of the automaker will be owned by Rostech, which previously held a stake in Alliance Rostec Auto together with Renault.
• Renault Russia factory will be taken away by Moscow authorities.
• Service of Renault cars in Russia will be carried out by AvtoVAZ, whose plants will continue to produce the entire line of Lada cars.

Russia revives Soviet Moskvich cars

Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin has already stated that the Renault Russia plant will continue to produce cars under the Soviet Moskvich brand.

He added that he will try to keep most of the staff working at the factory.

The foreign owner decided to close the Moscow factory “Renault”. It’s his right, but we can’t let thousands of workers lose their jobs. Therefore, I decided to take the plant on the balance of the city and continue the production of cars under the historical brand “Moskvich”. We will try to make most of the team work directly at the factory and its partners,

KamAz will be the main technological partner. At the first stage, they want to organize the production of classic cars with internal combustion engines, and later electric cars. At the same time, the racists are “working to localize the production of the maximum number of auto parts in Russia.”

It is currently unknown what he will do after leaving office. However, it would be very interesting to see the reaction of the Russians to this scrap, because they will have to switch from foreign cars of modern design to domestic “buckets”. These intentions are likely to remain just another phrase that Russians love to make out loud, but eventually forget about them.

If there are fewer questions about conventional internal combustion engines, because Russia can somehow scrape parts from “friendly countries”, then the intention to produce electric motors is ridiculous. The truth is that electric cars need batteries. However, in April, suppliers stopped selling lithium, a key component of batteries.

Rogozin wants fate

Meanwhile, the head of Roscosmos, Dmitry Rogozin, said that he is ready to manage enterprises acquired from foreign ownership. He wrote this on the telegram channel.

If the governors follow the example of the Moscow mayor and take decisive action against the property of foreign businessmen fleeing Russia, Roscosmos is ready to take similar companies under our management and quickly establish the production of high-quality domestic civilian products,
