Honor 100 Pro will launch with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 in November

Just a few months ago, the Honor 90 Pro was announced in China. Now, it seems that the brand is already working on the continuation of the series, with a leak pointing to the launch time frame and key features of the Honor 100 Pro model.

Technical specifications of Honor 100 Pro

The news comes from a well-known Digital Chat Station tipster who shared the information on Weibo (Chinese microblogging site). The upcoming device is expected to feature an AMOLED display that supports 3840Hz dimming and 1.5K resolution, and like its predecessor, it is expected to offer at least a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the Honor 100 Pro will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, which is an upgrade from the Honor 90 Pro that came with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC.

The speaker also added that the high-end smartphone will have a dual front camera. Digital Chat Station believes the device will undergo internal testing next month. On the other hand, Honor 100 Pro is expected to be released in early November 2023. Although the 90 Pro points to the technical specifications of the Honor 100 Pro, unfortunately this is all the information revealed.

The Honor 90 Pro is powered by a 5,000mAh battery, so the 100 Pro is likely to have the same capacity. It also supports 100W fast charging. The 90 Pro has up to 16GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage; these can also be retained in successors.
