Xiaomi is known for producing one of the best camera smartphones in the last few years. It all started when the company introduced the Ultra series. Xiaomi 13 Ultra is the company’s second generation ultraphone with a 1-inch camera sensor. According to rumors, Xiaomi 14 Ultra will continue to use the same size sensor.

Earlier today, a reliable source revealed more details about this upcoming phone. According to Digital Chat Station, Xiaomi 14 Ultra will have the new 1-inch Sony LYT900 main sensor. This image sensor is an optimized version of the IMX9898 found in the Xiaomi 13 Ultra, Xiaomi 12S Ultra and Xiaomi 13 Pro.

This main camera will be accompanied by three 50 MP sensors. Two of them will be paired with 3x and 5x zoom lenses, while the rest will be attached to the ultra-wide lens. The 3x camera will support telephoto macro like the Xiaomi 13 Pro.

Additionally, the leaker claims that the device will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and will feature a quad-screen 2K display with a single center hole on the front.

The curvature on all four sides of the screen will be minimal. Finally, the four cameras on the back will be placed in a circle, just like the last two generations. Xiaomi 14 Ultra is expected to be released in the first half of next year. But before that, the company is expected to launch Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro in November.
