Huawei has planned a product launch event next Monday (September 25) where several new products will be showcased. There are speculations that the brand may also introduce the Mate 60 RS Ultimate Design. Many sources, including leaked images of the device, have emerged to reveal important details about the special edition phone.
Leaked images reveal that the Huawei Mate 60 RS Ultimate Design will be available in black and red color options. As you can see, like last year’s Mate 50 RS Porsche Design, the Mate 60 RS Ultimate Design also has an octagonal camera module.
According to the tipster of Digital Chat Station, he recently had the opportunity to see the real Huawei Mate 60 RS Ultimate Design smartphone. In terms of design, it seems to have retained the octagonal camera on the back and continued the ceramic joint design of the previous generation. He added that the camera lens layout is the same as the Mate 60 series and has the same features as the Huawei Mate 60 Pro+ that was recently launched in China. Its price is believed to be around 10,000 RMB (~US$1,370).
Another image (above) shows a few more design details of the Mate 60 RS Ultimate. It turns out that the device has the model number ALN-AL10 and will come with 16 GB RAM and 1 TB storage. The rest of the specifications are likely to be the same as the Mate 60 Pro+. Here are its features.
Huawei Mate 60 Pro+ has a 6.82-inch LTPO OLED panel with a resolution of 1260×2720 pixels, 120 Hz refresh rate and Kunlun Glass 2 protection. It runs Harmony OS 4.0 and is powered by the Kirin 9000s chipset. The device is powered by a 5000mAh battery that supports 80W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.
The Mate 60 Pro+ has a 13-megapixel front camera and a ToF 3D sensor for 3D facial recognition. The rear camera setup includes a 48-megapixel primary camera with OIS and variable aperture, a 40-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 48-megapixel periscope telephoto camera.
