In September 2023, Motorola began releasing an Android security patch for the Moto G52. The smartphone is part of the company’s popular mid-range G series and the latest patch will update its protection level.

Motorola has released firmware version S1SRS32.38-132-15 with a total size of approximately 76 MB. Unfortunately, the company only offers an updated security patch but no major changes that will improve system performance or fix bugs. For those who don’t know, security updates basically increase the security of your smartphone and are usually released every month.

If we talk about the smartphone itself, the device has a 6.6-inch AMOLED screen with a 90 Hz refresh rate and Full HD + resolution. There is also a 16-megapixel selfie camera on the front panel. On the other hand, there is a 50-megapixel triple camera setup on the back. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 SoC paired with up to 6GB RAM and up to 256GB internal storage.

A 5000mAh battery powers this device, which supports 30W fast charging. Other notable features include side-mounted fingerprint scanner, Android 13 operating system, Adreno 610, 169-gram lightweight design and more. Available in charcoal gray and porcelain white colors. The brand also recently announced a new Sky Blue color variant for the Moto E13.
