Last week, images of the upcoming Redmi 13C surfaced online. These photos revealed the design of the smartphone and the colors it will be available in. A few days later, the phone was allegedly spotted in online listings and the MIUI codebase. These listings reveal some details about this product.
Xiaomiui claims to have found the upcoming Redmi 13C in its IMEI database. The name of the device is not specified in the listings. These listings show that the product will come in the following three model numbers, each for a different region.
- 23124RN87C – China
- 23124RN87G – Global
- 23124RN87I – India
According to the MIUI codebase, the phone’s codename is “air” and its internal model number is “C3V”. It will run on MediaTek chipset and run MIUI 14 based on Android 13. Judging by the first four digits of the model number, the smartphone could be officially launched in early December. It is expected to be released first in China, followed by other markets.
According to the renders, the phone will have a flat frame. It will feature a dewdrop display on the front and a triple camera setup on the back.
The main camera will have a 50 MP sensor. Additionally, the camera layout will imitate the Xiaomi 13 series. Finally, Redmi 12C will be available in black, blue and light green colors.
