As announced in early February, HMD Global has started smartphone production in parts of Europe, with the Nokia XR21 Limited Edition being the first device to roll off the new production line. Only a small number of these units were produced and they all come with the special Frosted Platinum colour, unique serial numbers and certificate of origin.

Features of Nokia XR21 Limited Edition

HMD produced the first batch of only 50 devices, and only 30 were made available for sale. As previously mentioned, each phone will be engraved with its own unique serial number and will come in Frosted Platinum with a limited edition box.

Nokia XR21 was offered with a 6.49-inch LCD screen with FHD + resolution, 120 Hz refresh rate and 550 nits maximum brightness. The screen is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus. It meets MIL-STD 810H military durability standards, has an IP68 waterproof rating, and is IP69K certified for protection against dust, water, and drops.

The phone has a dual camera setup with a 16 MP selfie camera and a 64 MP primary sensor, an 8 MP ultra wide-angle lens and an LED flash on the back. Nokia XR21 is powered by a Snapdragon 695 processor under the hood, paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It has a 4,800mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging. The device runs Android 12 operating system.
