According to a recent report, Samsung has started rolling out the October security update for its Galaxy A54 smartphones. For those who don’t know, the company had previously released the October security patch for Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Z Fold 5 smartphones, now other smartphone series seem to be waiting for the update.

According to a recent report from SAMmobile, the update comes with build version A546VSQS5AWI1. This new October update mainly focuses on improving the security and stability of the device. Therefore, users should not expect new interface features or performance improvements. It is worth noting that in this latest patch, Samsung has managed to fix more than 12 vulnerabilities found in the previous version of the update. For example, the company closed a critical vulnerability that allowed attackers to launch malicious viruses over Wi-Fi networks.

The patch is also currently available for Verizon users in the US. Those who want to update their Galaxy A54 smartphone to the latest update can go to: Settings > Software Update > Download and Install.
