Last month, Samsung quietly launched the Galaxy A05 and Galaxy A05s smartphones in Malaysia; both are affordable smartphones with some competitive specs and features. According to a reliable tipster @yabhishekhd, the Galaxy A05 series will be launched in India this week. Additionally, the Galaxy A05 will be available at a price of Rs 13,000 and the Galaxy A05s will be available at a price of Rs 15,000.
Both smartphones have 6.7-inch LCD screens with HD + resolution on the Galaxy A05 and Full HD + resolution on the Galaxy A05s. The price difference is offset by the presence of Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 in the Galaxy A05s, while MediaTek Helio G85 powers the Galaxy A05. Both smartphones come with 6 GB RAM and 128 GB internal storage option with MicroSD card slot.
In the camera department, the Galaxy A05s is equipped with a 50MP main sensor, 2MP depth lens and 2MP macro camera. Meanwhile, the Galaxy A05 also comes with the same camera setup but without the 2MP macro sensor. While the Galaxy A05s has a large 13 MP sensor on the front, the Galaxy A05 has an 8 MP camera on the front.
Both smartphones are powered by a 5,000mAh battery with 25W fast charging support. While the Galaxy A05 is available in three colours, Black, Light Green and Solvent, the Galaxy A05s also offers a purple colour.
