Earlier today, Honor announced that it will launch the Magic Vs 2 foldable phone and Watch 4 Pro in China on Thursday, October 12. The company shared a teaser on its official Weibo account, giving us a sneak peek at the upcoming offerings.

Magic Vs 2 will be the sequel to last year’s Magic Vs game. Now, ahead of its official launch, the upcoming foldable phone has been spotted by user X on benchmarking platform Geekbench.

Honor Magic Vs 2 appeared on Geekbench

Honor Magic Vs 2 is listed on Geekbench with model number VER-AN00. It has a motherboard codenamed “Taro” and includes four cores clocked at 1.80 GHz, three cores clocked at 2.50 GHz, and one main core clocked at 3 GHz. This corresponds to the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor. According to the database, the upcoming foldable phone will have 16GB of RAM. It will come out of the box with Android 13.

Honor Magic Vs 2 scored 1,648 and 4,201 points in Geekbench’s single-core and multi-core tests, respectively. The benchmark listing does not reveal any additional details of the device.

The official teaser image reveals that the Honor Magic Vs 2 will be available in Light Blue colour. It has a rectangular camera module on the back with three sensors and LED flash. The foldable phone appears to have a slim profile and a power button on the right side that is likely to function as a fingerprint scanner. The device has already been confirmed to be lighter than its predecessor.

Honor Magic Vs 2 will reportedly support 66W fast charging. The Magic Vs 2 camera is expected to consist of a 50MP ultra-wide lens and an 8MP telephoto lens.
