Unlike its BBK siblings Oppo and Vivo, OnePlus has yet to launch a foldable phone. Earlier this year, the company confirmed that a foldable phone would be released soon, and today an official teaser of what this phone will be called has been released. OnePlus Open. The Chinese brand has yet to announce a launch date but a teaser may suggest a launch later this month.

OnePlus Open is approaching its launch

In a post on X (formerly Twitter) OnePlus He talked about the future smartphone with the caption, “The real OnePlus experience awaits you.” ‘It will open soon.’ While the silhouette of the phone confirms that it is a foldable phone, the pun in the title points to a name we have been hearing for months: OnePlus On.

OnePlus’ upcoming foldable phone is said to be the rebranded Oppo Find N3 Fold. This is confirmed by the phone’s recent listing on Geekbench, as well as images of Indian actress Anushka Sharma using a device that matches previous renders of the Find N3 Fold. This is actually good news because Oppo’s folding book-style models are pretty good but not available outside of China.

Earlier leaks suggest that OnePlus Open will launch in India on October 19. In terms of specifications, the OnePlus Open is likely to feature a 7.8-inch 2K internal display with 120Hz refresh rate. The foldable phone is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor paired with 16 GB RAM and 256 GB storage. It will also be powered by a 4,800mAh battery with 67W fast charging support.
