Vivo is reportedly planning to launch a new flagship foldable smartphone series soon. The company’s new Vivo X Fold 3, X Fold 3 Pro and X Flip 2 are in the works and may be introduced at the beginning of next year. Here are all the details.

Vivo’s three new foldable smartphones will be introduced in the first quarter of 2024

According to news on Weibo, the Chinese technology giant plans to launch three new foldable phones in the first quarter of next year. These new devices will be released around the same time as the flagship model X100 Pro+, as well as the X Fold 3, X Fold 3 Pro and X Flip 2. Rumors about the Vivo X100 series have already emerged at the moment.

While the X100 and X100 Pro are expected to be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9300 SoC, the X100 Pro+ is expected to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. Recently, Vivo X Fold 3 Pro was spotted with model number V2337A in the IMEI database. However, it is not clear in what aspects it will differentiate the X Fold 3 and X Fold 3 Pro models.

In addition to the flagship model, the company is said to launch the X Flip 2 in China around the same time. The new foldable phones, as the name suggests, will be the successor of the old X Fold 2 series and the original X Flip smartphone. While it has been confirmed that the devices will be released in China soon, it is unclear which models will hit the global market.
