Samsung releases October update for Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+ and Galaxy S23 Ultra

In October 2023, Samsung released a security update for global versions of the Galaxy S23 series smartphones. The update is currently available in Europe and India but we expect it to be rolled out globally in the next few days. Samsung has already released a new security update for some other high-end phones, including the Galaxy S22.

New security update for Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+ and Galaxy S23 Ultra arrives with firmware release S911BXXS3AWIF. It’s currently available throughout Europe, and if it’s not available in the European country you live in, you may have to wait a few days for it to appear on your device. New update in India comes with a firmware release S918BXXS3AWIG. The new update is quite small, just 350 MB (380 MB in India) and only includes the October 2023 security patch, which fixes dozens of vulnerabilities in the previous version of the software.

If you live in Europe or India and have a Galaxy S23 series phone, you can now check out the new update. To do this, go to: Settings » Software updates and bass Download and Install. You can also download a new firmware file from our firmware database and flash it manually.

Samsung launched the Galaxy S23 series with One UI 5.1.1 based on Android 13. The company has already released the beta version of One UI 6.0 based on Android 14 in some countries for testing purposes, and the stable update is expected to go live in 2019. next few weeks.
