Vivo is preparing to launch two new mid-range phones with model numbers V2318A and V2317A. Both were recently certified by Chinese certification platform TENAA. A look at the detailed specifications of the V2318A and V2317A leaked during certification sheds light on what users can expect from these upcoming Vivo smartphones.

Specifications of Vivo V2318A, V2317A (rumours)

According to the TENAA certification, Vivo V2318A and V2317A smartphones have a 6.56-inch IPS LCD screen with a resolution of 720 x 1612 pixels. The screen is likely to support 90 Hz refresh rate. As for the front camera, there is a 5-megapixel front camera and a 13-megapixel primary camera.

V2318A is a 4G LTE device powered by a 2.2GHz octa-core processor and backed by a 4850mAh battery. It will be available with 6GB, 8GB, 12GB and 16GB RAM options, as well as 128GB, 256GB, 512GB and 1TB storage options.

The V2317A, on the other hand, is a 5G phone powered by an undisclosed 2GHz octa-core processor. It will offer 4GB, 6GB, 8GB and 12GB RAM variants and 128GB, 256GB and 512GB storage options. This model has an 8-megapixel front camera and a 13-megapixel + 2-megapixel dual camera system on the back.

Both models are expected to run on Android 13 and have a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. Both devices have a 4,850mAh battery (rated capacity) and will likely support 18W charging. They are expected to have the same dimensions of 163.74 x 75.43 x 8.09 mm, with the V2318A weighing 186 grams and the V2317A weighing 189 grams.

The V2318A and V2317A phones are likely to be launched as Vivo Y series smartphones. These TENAA-certified devices are expected to be launched in China this month (October).
