Samsung introduced the Galaxy Z Flip 5 worldwide in July this year. It was initially offered in four colors: mint, graphite, cream and lavender. Now it has been confirmed that the fifth generation flip phone will hit the Indian market in a new color. The South Korean brand shared the announcement on its X profile.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 will be available in yellow color. The second (bottom) half of the rear panel has a yellow tint. However, compared to other color options, the frame of the upcoming series looks black. Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 will be introduced in yellow color on October 17.

Samsung has prepared a notification page where interested customers can register their interest in the upcoming model. We’ll find out the price and availability of the device next Tuesday, and we expect it to be the same as the available color options.

In terms of key features, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 has a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with 120Hz adaptive refresh rate. There is a large 3.4-inch folder-shaped sAMOLED secondary display with a maximum brightness of 1,600 nits and a 60Hz refresh rate. The clamshell phone has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner built into the power button.

The device has a 12 MP + 12 MP rear camera and a 10 MP front selfie camera. Internally, the Galaxy Z Flip 5 is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor paired with 8GB RAM and 512GB storage. It is backed by a 3700mAh battery with 25W fast charging support.
