Earlier this year, Honor launched the Magic V2, one of the thinnest foldable smartphones. And tomorrow the Chinese company will release another complex device in the book style – Honor Magic Vs 2. Judging by the nickname, the smartphone is an updated version of last year’s Magic Vs. While there’s still time for the official launch, Honor has shared a detailed image of the Magic Vs 2 in bright blue today.

Magic Vs 2 may be more subtle than Magic Vs

Honor Global Marketing and Communications President Bhavya Siddappa shared an image of X introducing the new Magic Vs 2. The smartphone is displayed in a blue color with a shiny effect. There is a triple camera setup similar to the Magic V2. It’s hard to tell from the image whether the device will be as thin as the Magic V2, which is only 9.9mm when closed. However, the Magic Vs 2 should be thinner than the Magic Vs, which has a 6.1mm profile when opened.

Honor will release Magic Vs 2 on October 12, along with the Honor Watch 4 Pro, which can be featured in the same image. The specifications of the phone are expected to improve slightly compared to last year’s Magic Vs. A recent test by Geekbench suggested that the Vs 2 will be powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset and 16GB of RAM.

It is expected to have a 50-megapixel primary camera, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera and an 8-megapixel telephoto camera. Magic Vs 2 can support 66W charging. More details about the smartphone will be revealed during the presentation tomorrow.
