Oppo has confirmed that its upcoming foldable smartphone Find N3 will be launched in China on October 19. The brand recently revealed the design of the smartphone and officially revealed its color options. However, we can now see the smartphone in some real photos.
Photos published by Weibo CEO Gaofei Wang on the Chinese microblogging platform, but later deleted the post. However, Chinese website ITHome gathered the details fairly quickly before it was removed.
Actual photos show the Find N3 in a new red color not previously seen in images. This model appears to have a leather back, unlike the green and gold models introduced by Oppo, which likely have a simple glass finish. It is possible that Oppo may reserve this red color variant for a special edition.
Aside from the new color, the actual photos also show that the Find N3 is slightly thicker but slightly lighter than the Huawei Mate X3. Wang measured the weight and thickness of the Find N3 with a measuring device and found that the device is 12.44mm thick and weighs 244.8g.
For comparison, the Mate X3 is 11.8 mm tall and weighs 248.9 grams. Wang also noted that the Find N3’s right-angled bezel makes the phone look nice, but makes it less immersive than the Mate X3.
Coming to the specifications, the Oppo Find N3 is said to feature a 7.82-inch internal AMOLED display and a 6.31-inch external AMOLED display, both with a 120Hz refresh rate.
It is also expected to have a 48-megapixel primary camera, a 48-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a 64-megapixel telephoto camera. The phone will have a 4805mAh battery with 100W charging support.
