We finally know the OnePlus Open launch date! After several months of numerous leaks and rumors, company president and COO Kinder Liu announced the launch date of its first foldable phone in an exclusive interview with The Verge. OnePlus Open is said to launch at the end of this month, which is next week to be exact. Earlier today, OnePlus subsidiary OPPO also announced that it will launch the Find N3 series advanced devices on October 19.

OnePlus President Kinder Liu announced that OnePlus will announce OnePlus Open on October 19. The presentation will take place in Mumbai at 19:30 EST (16:00 CET and 10:00 EST). Manager upcoming offer “It will take the assembly experience to new heights.” He added that OnePlus spent two years researching and developing prototypes but the launch was delayed due to technical hurdles.
Additionally, the OnePlus Open has already been confirmed to be the same as the OPPO Find N3, which is scheduled to launch on the same day at 14:30 GMT in Singapore. This is because OPPO’s foldable Find N book-style devices are limited to the Chinese market.
The image shared in the post also gives us a look at OnePlus Open. This confirms the presence of a three-step alert slider as well as a box-shaped form factor. Looking at the body of the device, it is seen that the foldable phone will come in green color. Liu also added in the interview that OnePlus wants to offer a universal flagship complex experience without making any compromises.
