Samsung will launch a new Galaxy A series phone in India. The South Korean brand confirmed that it will announce the Galaxy A05s smartphone in the country next week. It will be the successor of Galaxy A04s. The upcoming offering was introduced in Malaysia last month. The Indian version is also expected to have the same features. Read on to find out the details.

Samsung Galaxy A05 launch date in India

Samsung will launch the Galaxy A05s smartphone in India on Wednesday, October 18. It has been confirmed that it will be available in black, light green and light purple color options. The teaser poster published by the company shows a waterdrop notch display with a thick chin and three vertically arranged camera sensors. The power button on the right probably also functions as a fingerprint scanner.

Samsung also confirmed the main specifications of the Galaxy A05s. The Indian version will indeed have the same features as its global counterpart. It will have a 6.7 inch screen with FHD + resolution. The triple camera setup will consist of a 50MP primary sensor paired with a 2MP depth lens and a 2MP macro lens. The smartphone is reportedly equipped with a Snapdragon 680 processor under the hood. The remaining features are expected to be a 5,000mAh battery with 25W fast charging support, 6GB RAM and 128GB storage.
