Samsung has officially launched its entry-level Galaxy A05 and Galaxy A05s smartphones in the Philippines. While the details of the A05 series were first announced in September, the technology giant did not disclose its price and availability, but now it has announced the details for the Philippine market. The A05 and A05s have a 90Hz display, 50-megapixel main camera, up to 128 GB of storage and large batteries with fast charging support.

Galaxy A05 is equipped with a 6.7-inch PLS LCD HD+ display, Helio G85 processor, 4 GB RAM and 64 GB or 128 GB storage option. It has a 5,000mAh battery that supports 25W charging, an 8MP selfie camera and a 50MP + 2MP (depth) rear camera.
Additional features include dual SIM, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, microSD card slot, face unlock, USB-C, and 3.5mm headphone jack. The device runs Android 13 with One UI, measures 68.8×78.2×8.8 mm and weighs 195 grams.
On the other hand, Galaxy A05s has a 6.7 inch 2 PLS 90Hz FHD + LCD display with a Snapdragon 680 processor under the hood. The device, which has 4GB RAM and 128GB storage, is powered by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 25W charging. The phone has an 8-megapixel front camera and a main camera with 50 MP, 2 MP (depth) and 2 MP (macro) lenses.
Galaxy A05s also has other features like dual SIM, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, side-mounted fingerprint scanner, microSD card slot, face unlock, USB-C and 3.5mm audio jack. It also runs Android 13 with One UI, measures 168.0×77.8×8.8 mm and weighs 194 grams.

Galaxy A05 is available in the Philippines starting from PHP 5,690 (~$100) in black and silver color options. The Galaxy A05s, on the other hand, is available in Black and Light Green color options at a starting price of PHP 7,990 (~$140).
