Vivo and its sub-brand iQOO are preparing to launch the Vivo X100 series and iQOO 12 series in China. Many reliable sources in China have announced the expected launch dates of both series.

iQOO 12, Vivo X100 series launch dates

According to the reliable Digital Chat Station, the iQOO 12 series will be launched in China in early November, coinciding with the Double Eleven event (November 11). On the other hand, the Vivo X100 series will be released right after Double Eleven.

Additionally, according to this information, another leaker expressed doubts about the launch of the Vivo X100 series in early November, suggesting that coordination with the Double Eleven event may be difficult. He added that the iQOO 12 series is primarily an online release and is expected to be ready in time for Double Eleven, while the X100 series will arrive after the event. It is also said that the iQOO 12 (not the Pro version) will launch in India in the same month.

For those who don’t know, the iQOO 12 series includes two Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 supported devices, iQOO 12 and 12 Pro. Qualcomm is expected to introduce Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 at the Snapdragon Summit event to be held in 2023. It is also reported that Xiaomi will be the first brand to launch a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3-based smartphone. According to reports, Xiaomi 14 and 14 Pro may be officially introduced on October 27.

On the other hand, there are two models in the X100 series, Vivo X100 and X100 Pro. The Dimensity 9300 chip that is expected to power these devices is expected to be released in November. The X100 series also includes Vivo X100 Pro+, which is said to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip. The Pro+ model is likely to become official in the first quarter of 2024.
