A Reddit user also talked about his Apple support experience by posting a photo of the iPhone 15 Pro Max with a burnt screen.
An Apple employee claims that the iPhone 15 Pro Max screen is showing residual images due to the use of iOS 17.1 beta, as “this version may contain some bugs that may affect the performance of the iPhone.”
The user is advised to wait for the official release of iOS 17.1 firmware, which may solve this problem. Users in the comments believe that this is a hardware problem, so it will not be possible to fix it with a new firmware. It is also recommended to roll back to the official iPhone 17.0.3 firmware before it is too late and return the smartphone under warranty.
Previously, Apple published an official comment regarding the screen burn-in problem that some iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max users complained about.
