Rumors claim that iQOO is working on iQOO 12 series smartphones for the Chinese market. There are speculations that the iQOO 12 and 12 Pro may be launched in early November, making them suitable for the upcoming November 11 (Double Eleven) shopping festival. Ahead of the anticipated launch, rumors have leaked key specifications of both the phones. A new leak courtesy of tipster Panda is Bald has revealed the color variants of the iQOO 12 series.

To recall, iQOO 11 and 11 Pro were available in the same colors such as black, green and white. A new leak shows that the iQOO 12 and 12 Pro will also come in three colors such as black, white and red. Interestingly, the white version is likely to have a glass back panel, while the other two variants are likely to have a leather-textured back panel.

Features of iQOO 12 (rumours)

It is said that iQOO 12 will have a 6.78-inch E7 AMOLED display with a flat design. It will have 1.5K resolution, 144 Hz refresh rate and an optical fingerprint scanner on the screen. The triple camera setup on the back is expected to include a 50-megapixel primary camera (OV50H with OIS), a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera (JN1) and a 64-megapixel telephoto lens. The device is expected to be powered by a powerful 5,200mAh battery that supports 120W fast charging. It is said to have an IP64 certified body and metal frame.

iQOO 12 Pro specifications (rumours)

The iQOO 12 Pro is designed to feature a 6.78-inch E7 AMOLED display with curved edges that offers 2K resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, and an under-display ultrasonic fingerprint sensor. On the back, the iQOO 12 Pro may have the same 50MP primary camera (OV50H with OIS) and 50MP ultra-wide camera (JN1), but it is expected to have a periscopic zoom camera instead of a telephoto lens. The 12 Pro may come with a larger 5,400mAh battery that supports 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. It is said to have an IP68 waterproof and dustproof body with a metal frame for durability.

The iQOO 12 series will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip and equipped with up to 24 GB LPDDR5x RAM and 1 TB UFS 4.0 storage. Both devices are said to have a 16-megapixel front camera. The series is expected to run on Android 14 based on OriginOS 4.
