Honor is said to be working on announcing several new smartphones in China by the end of this year. These upcoming models include Honor Play 8T Pro, Honor X50 GT, Honor 100 GT, Honor 100 and 100 Pro. Among these, the X50 GT seems to be one of the first to appear in the Chinese market. Recent leaks have given insight into the design and some features of the X50 GT. Now a Chinese tipster has come across an early listing of the unannounced phone on JD.com.

Honor X50 GT specifications (rumours)

According to the JD listing, the Honor X50 GT will have a 6.81-inch screen. The listing does not specify whether the device will have an LCD panel or an OLED panel. The screen will have a Full HD + resolution of 2388 × 1080 pixels.

Under the hood, the device will feature an older Snapdragon 888 chipset, 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. It will be powered by a 4,800mAh battery, but there is no information yet about its fast charging capabilities.

Additionally, the list states that the Honor X50 GT has a 16-megapixel front camera and a 50-megapixel rear camera. The listing even states that the device will cost $1,898 ~ $259, which is nothing more than a placeholder price.

Earlier this month, it was reported that the upcoming Honor X50 series phone, which looks like the X50 GT, will take the front panel design from the Honor X50, while the rear panel design will be inspired by the Huawei Mate So, this suggests that the X50 GT will have an OLED display, which is an improvement over the previous year’s X40 GT, which had an LCD display. The device may become official by the end of this month or early November.
