A testing report published by Wu Hao shows that the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ passed the IPX9 water resistance test last week on October 10. The test report was submitted by Saibao Laboratory and the Fifth Electronic Research Institute of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.
The standard IPX9 water resistance test requires 4 holes through which water is fed at angles of 0°, 30°, 60° and 90°. Water temperature varies between 25 and 80°C. Water spray pressure is between 8000 and 10000 kPa. The impact force of water is between 0.9 and 1.2 N. Total time is 120 seconds.
Redmi Note 13 Pro+ was released in September this year. The smartphone became the first phone to receive Dimensity 7200-Ultra, which has a 200-megapixel main camera, a built-in battery with a capacity of 5000 mAh, support for 120 W fast charging, as well as protection against dust and water.
