We’ve been hearing about the OnePlus 12 since the beginning of this year. The brand’s new generation flagship smartphone is expected to be officially introduced at the end of the year or early 2024.

We’ve learned almost everything about this upcoming device in the last few months. A new leak that surfaced today even confirms a few small things that will improve the overall experience of the phone.

According to Digital Chat Station, OnePlus 12 will be equipped with a USB 3.2 port. The phone will also support 50W wireless charging.

In comparison, the OnePlus 11 is equipped with a USB 2.0 port and does not support wireless charging. These two are among Samsung’s disadvantages compared to its flagships. It is also reported that OnePlus 12 will be equipped with an infrared sensor. It also reiterates the existence of the periscope camera, which we already know.

According to a leak in August, the device may have a dust and water resistance rating. But we haven’t heard from it since.

Speaking of other specifications, the OnePlus 12 is expected to feature a 120Hz LTPO OLED display with 3,000 nits peak brightness and QHD+ resolution. It will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip paired with LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 storage.

It will use a triple-camera system configured by Hasselblad and featuring a 50-megapixel Sony IMX966 sensor with optical image stabilization, a 48-megapixel Sony IMX581 ultra-wide unit and a 64-megapixel OmniVision OV64B 3x periscope. Finally, it will be powered by a 5,400mAh battery with 100W wired charging support.
