Samsung is gearing up to launch another Galaxy A smartphone series in India soon. The company launched the Galaxy A05s just last month and now a new certification listing hints at the upcoming launch of the Galaxy A05 model.

Samsung Galaxy A05 spotted at Bluetooth SIG

In an earlier report, a support page for the Galaxy A05 had been launched on the company’s official website. Now the South Korean technology giant’s upcoming Galaxy A05 has appeared in the Bluetooth SIG database. The online listing shows that the device will come in several different models, including SM-A055F-DS, SM-A055F, SM-A055M-DS, and SM-A055M. These are probably the same devices for different markets and one of them is likely to be launched in India.

From what we know so far, the Galaxy A05 may have a 6.5-inch display with an Infinity U notch, and this panel may offer a standard 60Hz refresh rate and Full HD + resolution. It is said to be powered by a MediaTek Helio G85 SoC paired with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. Another report hints that the device may support memory expansion up to 1TB via microSD card slot.

This model is likely to run Android 13 out of the box with its own One UI 5.1 skin. The rear camera may feature a 50-megapixel primary camera and an 8-megapixel selfie camera on the front.
