Meizu is one of the brands preparing to launch Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 flagship phones in China. There are speculations that the brand may soon introduce the new chip-equipped Meizu 21 and Meizu 21 Pro models in the domestic market. Today, a Meizu device, likely belonging to the Meizu 21 series, passed radio certification in China. The certification is a good hint that the launch of Meizu 21 series may be very soon.

Meizu 21 series is likely to be released soon

According to reports, the standard version of Meizu 21 has the model number M461Q. There is speculation that the model numbers M461H and M461S are also related to Meizu 21. Reports have revealed that the M481Q and M481S models belong to the Meizu 21 Pro.

As seen in the screenshot above, the Meizu 21 Pro, which allegedly has the model number M481S, has received radio certification in China. The listing only confirms that the device will come with support for UWB ultra-wideband technology. As a reminder, Meizu 21 (M461Q) was spotted on the same certification site last month.

Meizu 21 series is likely to receive 3C and TENAA certifications in China in the coming days. In other words, it looks like a breakout could occur in China at the end of this year or at the beginning of January. Let’s take a look at what to expect from the Meizu 21 series:

According to recent leaks, Meizu 21 will have a BOE Q9 flexible display that offers 1.5K screen resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, 2160Hz PWM dimming and Gorilla Glass Victus screen protection. In terms of battery life, the Meizu 21 series has a 4,800mAh battery with 80W charging. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor-based phone can have up to 16 GB LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1 TB UFS 4.0 storage.

As for the camera setup, the Meizu 21 will likely feature a 32-megapixel Samsung GD2 front camera and a rear camera that includes a 50-megapixel Sony IMX966 main camera with OIS, a 16-megapixel Samsung S5K3P9 ultra-wide lens. and a 12-megapixel portrait telephoto lens, IMX663 lens with 2x optical zoom.
