Following the latest gradual update to the stable build for OnePlus 10R, the smartphone is receiving the first OxygenOS 14 Open Beta 1 update. The new update is available to the first 5,000 applicants and includes many new features and luxuries of Android 14. You can be the first to benefit from new features and improvements, but it may also bring some bugs.

Open beta is recommended only for users who are technically versed in the concept of open beta testing and its disadvantages. However, the app is currently available for OnePlus 10R India variants.

There are many new changes and features that will definitely improve the experience. Below is the official changelog:

• Improves photo and video permission management for more secure app access. Yield improvement

• Improves system stability, application launch speed and animation smoothness.

• Application refresh rate support has been added to improve user experience.

• Updates Aquamorphic Design with a natural, soft and sharp color style for more comfortable color reproduction.

• Adds Aquamorphic theme tunes and updates system notification sounds.

• It improves system animations, making them even more fluid.

User maintenance

• Adds AOD with carbon monitoring that visualizes the carbon emissions you avoid by walking instead of driving.

OxygenOS 14 Open Beta Installation Steps

1. To install OxygenOS 14 Open Beta 1 on OnePlus 10R, any of the following firmware versions must be installed:

  • CPH2411_13.1.0.600(EX01)
  • CPH2423_13.1.0.600(EX01)
  • CPH2411_13.1.0.590(EX01)
  • CPH2423_13.1.0.590(EX01)

Note: Additionally, the user must have 4 GB of free space on their device.

2. Then navigate to: Settings > About device > Tap on update > Tap on the icon in the top right corner > Beta testing program > Follow the instructions to apply .

(Note: It will take 5-3 business days for the server team to review and respond to your request.)

3. Once confirmed, the user can proceed with the following actions: Settings > About Device > Download Now.

After the OxygenOS 14 Open Beta 1 update, the user may encounter some problems and they can report this by going to Google Dialer and typing *#800#. For detailed instructions, the user can go to the announcement thread.
