Counterpoint Research analysts calculated the cost of iPhone 15 Pro Max components and found that compared to its predecessor, the iPhone 14 Pro Max, smartphone components cost Apple $37.7 more. It would seem that such a solid allowance is mainly provided by the titanium frame of the case, but no: it corresponds to only an 18% increase in price.

By comparison, the cost of the A17 Pro single-chip system has increased by $30 overall compared to the A16, while the cost of camera components has increased by 34%.

At the same time, due to falling prices in the memory market, Apple managed to save almost $17 on memory chips. Also the cost of the screen is slightly cheaper than Apple – by 4%.

Analysts estimate that the share of components developed by Apple increased from 22% in the iPhone 14 Pro Max to 25% in the iPhone 15 Pro Max
