Apple has stopped production of the iPhone 12 mini with the launch of the iPhone 14 series in September 2022. However, the company continued to sell the device in its renewed form on its website in the USA for a while. The updated version hit shelves in late July 2022, a few months before the phone was discontinued. However, only the 128 GB version of the product was available.

Now, more than a year later, Apple has brought the updated iPhone 12 mini back to its US website. However, this time the device is offered with 256 GB of storage and at a lower price.

After the official presentation of the iPhone 15 series in September this year, production of the iPhone 13 mini was discontinued. However, the Mini series was officially dead and was no longer available for sale, including refurbished versions.

Surprisingly, two months later, the iPhone 12 mini 256GB is back in its updated avatar on Apple’s US website. It’s priced at $529, making it $50 cheaper than the updated 128GB model sold previously ($579). Currently this is the only iPhone mini smartphone officially sold by Apple. Unfortunately this is limited to the USA. Apple introduced its first 5G iPhones in the fall of 2020 in the form of the iPhone 12 series, and for the first time, a “mini” model was included in the series.

Although netizens praise the return of the small form factor, the market prefers phones with large screens. Thus, sales of the iPhone 12 mini and its successor, the iPhone 13 mini, decreased compared to regular and professional models.
