The Redmi Note 13 series, which Xiaomi introduced to the domestic market in September this year, has not yet reached the world shores. However, a recent development suggests that a global launch is on the horizon, with the Redmi Note 13 5G appearing on Thailand’s NBTC certification database.

The global model, identified by model number 2312DRAABG, has successfully passed NBTC certification, an important step towards its worldwide launch. Although the certification does not reveal specific details about the device, the global version of the Redmi Note 13 5G is expected to closely mirror its Chinese counterpart in terms of specifications.

Features of Redmi Note 13 5G

Redmi Note 13 5G has a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution of 1080 × 2400 pixels. It has a high refresh rate of 120 Hz and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5, which provides a maximum brightness of 1000 nits and a 10-bit panel for a vibrant image. Other notable features include a 3.5mm audio jack, infrared sensor, and IP54 dust and splash protection.

This device is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 6080 SoC complemented by Mali G57 GPU. In terms of memory and storage, it offers 128GB or 256GB UFS 2.2 storage options along with a microSD card for storage expansion. Users can choose a configuration with 6 GB, 8 GB or 12 GB LPDDR4X RAM depending on their needs. The software is based on MIUI 14 built on Android 13.

The camera setup includes a reliable 100-megapixel primary camera with f/1.7 aperture, along with a 2-megapixel depth sensor and LED flash for a variety of photos. There is a 16MP selfie camera on the front for you to record your moments.

Redmi Note 13 5G packs a powerful 5000mAh battery and supports 33W fast charging via the convenient USB Type-C port. The device was previously spotted on IMDA, FCC and BIS certification websites, signaling that the brand is planning to launch it in the global market soon.
