The company Humane AI has presented an interesting development called Humane Ai Pin. It is positioned to replace smartphones. The model is a compact device that attaches to clothing and collects data using a built-in camera. The gadget is equipped with an eight-core Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC, 4 GB RAM, 32 GB flash memory and uses an artificial intelligence system. Humane believes the Humane Ai Pin could somehow replace your smartphone. It will be available for order in the USA on November 16.

You’ll have to pay $699 for the device, then pay another $24 per month for the subscription. Currently, the device operates in a proprietary mobile virtual network (MVNO), created on the basis of the network of the American operator T-Mobile.

Ai Pin is also equipped with a microphone, depth and motion sensors. Control is carried out by voice, the device has a speaker, you can also connect headphones via Bluetooth. The gadget does not have a screen, but there is a touchpad with gesture recognition. The device is completely self-contained and does not require connection to a smartphone.

The main camera has a resolution of 13 MP. Since there is no screen, information is projected directly onto the user’s palm (or another surface) at 720p resolution. LTE and 3G voice calls are supported, as well as Wi-Fi (802.11ac), Bluetooth 5.1 and GPS/GLONASS.

The dimensions of the device are 47.50×44.50×8.25-14.98 mm and its weight is 34.2 grams. The Pluggable Battery booster will add another 8.25mm to the thickness.
