November 23 has been set as an important date as Nubia and Honor confirm upcoming product announcements in China. While Nubia is preparing to launch the Red Magic 9 Pro series, Honor is planning to launch the Honor 100 series on the same day. Oppo’s confirmation that it will launch the Reno 11 series at 14:00 (local time) on the same day further increases the excitement.
The landing page of the Reno 11 series is now available on the Oppo China website. Apart from confirming the launch date, this also gives a good look at the design of the Reno 11 series. The listing also confirms that the series will come in four colors namely Flourite Blue, Moonstone, Turquoise and Obsidian Black.
Although the front of the Reno 11 series has not been revealed yet, it looks like the Reno 11 and Reno 11 Pro will continue to have a curved-edge OLED display with a central punch-hole and an in-display fingerprint scanner like the Reno 10 series. The official page confirms that both smartphones will allow users to shoot portraits at the level of SLR cameras. The brand has not yet confirmed the key features of the Reno 11 series.
According to reports, Reno 11 and Reno 11 Pro will be powered by Dimensity 8200 and Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipsets respectively. While Reno 11 will have a 4,800mAh battery with 67W fast charging, the Pro model will have a 4,700mAh battery with 80W charging. Both phones will run Android 13 based on ColorOS 14.
The OLED panels of both phones will support 120Hz refresh rate. The Reno 11 will likely support FHD+ resolution, while the Pro model may offer 1.5K resolution. Both phones will have a 32-megapixel front camera, and there will be additional cameras on the back, such as an 8-megapixel IMX355 ultra-wide-angle lens and a 32-megapixel IMX709 telephoto camera with 2x zoom. It is said that Reno 11 and 11 Pro will have LYT-600 and LYT-700 main cameras respectively.
