Meizu 21 is now available for pre-order in China. However, the brand did not confirm the launch date. Today, it released a new poster showcasing the gorgeous front panel design of the smartphone.

There are symmetrical frames around the Meizu 21 screen

Meizu officially announced that Meizu 21 features a custom-made 6.55-inch Samsung AMOLED display with 1.74mm symmetrical bezels on all four sides. Notably, the iPhone 15 Pro has similar symmetrical bezels of 1.75 mm, while the Xiaomi 14 has a slightly thinner bottom panel of 1.71 mm. However, although the top and side frames of Xiaomi 14 are smaller (1.61 mm), they do not maintain symmetry.

Preliminary design of Meizu 21 revealed

According to previous reports, Meizu 21 will have a 4,800mAh battery with 80W charging. The exact size of the Meizu 21 Pro screen is still unknown. However, it needs to be a larger device with a screen size of around 6.7 inches.

Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 will run on Meizu 21 and 21 Pro. The Pro variant is expected to have a 5,020mAh battery with 80W charging support. It is unclear whether the Pro model will also offer wireless charging.

Meizu 21 and 21 Pro are expected to have a 50-megapixel primary camera with OIS support. While the standard model is expected to include an ultra-wide-angle camera and telephoto camera, the Pro version is expected to include an ultra-wide camera and periscope telephoto camera. It is expected that there will be a ring-shaped RGB LED flash on the back of both phones. Both phones are likely to come pre-installed with Android 14 based on Flyme 10.

Other features of the Meizu 21 series are not yet known. The series will replace the Meizu 20 and Meizu 20 Pro flagship phones that were launched with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip earlier this year.
